Design the Leica Seasonal Greetings Card
Submit your best seasonal picture and win a D-Lux 4
Instead of looking for a picture to illustrate a Season´s Greetings card for the New Year, Leica has decided to let you participate in the designing of the card. In LFI Gallery you can post your best Season´s Greetings picture – the one that you think will illustrate Leica's best wishes for the New Year. To do that, you should register here at LFI Gallery first.
The picture can be in colour or black and white, must be in landscape format and be taken with a Leica camera. Of course the card should work throughout the world, which means that chosen subjects should not be too overtly religious. The original should be available 20x30cm in 300dpi; If your Leica compact camera doesn't meet these requirements please
upload the photograph in a size of about 1800x2700 pixel. The version visible on the internet will not be at this definition and thus not suitable for illegal use from third parties.
If you submit a digital photograph please make sure that the Exif-Data is not erased. Please note the camera and lense in the text field during the upload process.
Please note: You can only submit one picture. Photographers who submit more pictures are excluded from the contest.
The competition runs until midnight GMT on November 2nd, 2009. Leica will decide on the winning picture and the judges decision if final. This picture will be printed on Leica's Season´s Greetings Card and used worldwide and will feature the name of the photographer. In addition the winning photographer will receive a prize of a LEICA D-Lux 4.

- You took the photo you are entering for the competition,
- You are the sole owner of the copyright for this photo or have been authorized by the owner of the copyright,
- The photo you are entering is neither photomontage nor have been manipulated by digital or other means,
- No other party can enforce any right or raise any objections in connection with a publication,
- If the photo is being entered on behalf of a photographer, you have been authorized by the photographer to enter the picture in his name. You also declare that the photographer accepted the conditions,
- You give Leica Camera AG the right to publish your picture entered into this competition online in the LFI Gallery,
If the entered photo wins the competition, You give Leica Camera AG the right to
- use this photo in connection with the “Leica Seasonal Greetings” competition for PR purposes,
- use this photo for the Leica Season card
- publish with reference to the competition your award winning picture online.
